BETWEEN THE NATIONAL ANCIENT ART MUSEUM AND THE PRADO NATIONAL MUSEUM

An historical agreement between the National Ancient Art Museum and the Prado National Museum (Madrid), in order to carry out joint projects that promote the knowledge of the collections of both museums, was signed in Lisbon on September 9th 2013.

RUBENS, BRUEGHEL, LORRAIN. The Nordic Landscape of Prado Museum" featuring almost 60 paintings of the great landscape masters of the 17th century – is the first of many initiatives resulting from this partnership. It will also be the first exhibition in Portugal made up exclusively by works of the Prado Museum, one of the most important museums in the world.

BETWEEN THE DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE  (DGCP) AND EVERYTHING IS NEW

Following the success of the exhibition by Joana Vasconcelos at the National Palace of Ajuda, which had a ticket sale record, Everything is New partners again with the DGCP, in what will be the first Great Exhibition of the Prado Museum in Portugal. It takes place at the National Ancient Art Museum in Lisbon from December 4th 2013 until March 30th 2014.

In this public-private agreement, Everything is New is responsible for the total investment and also for the production, communication and merchandising of the exhibition. This partnership model allows the exhibition to happen without any financial risk for the Portuguese State.
